Churches start their tradition with carol singing, after which Christmas mass is held. Later after visiting the church, people meet their friends and family to share sweets, cakes, and meals. People in India hang out a big paper lantern of the shape of the star on the top of there houses, which symbolizes the star of the Bethlehem!
